EEUU, DISMINUYE EL CONSUMO ENTRE ADOLESCENTES DESDE LA LEGALIZACIÓN DEL CANNABIS MEDICINAL
El diario americano sobre abuso de drogas y alcohol, ha realizado un estudio masivo a unos 800.000 estudiantes de secundaria en EEUU que demuestra una bajada en el consumo en aquellos estados donde el uso medicinal ha sido legalizado.
El estudio fue dirigido por la doctora Rebekah Levine Coley, profesora de psicología en el Boston College. Descubrieron que por cada grupo de 100 adolescentes, uno menos será consumidor tras la legalización del cannabis medicinal. Al observar subgrupos particulares de adolescentes, la reducción es más acentuada.
Es estudio se ha realizado surante 16 años y los investigadores han podido analizar los cambios en el uson del cannabis por parte de los adolescentes en los estados donde se han promulgado leyes de cannabis medicinal y en los estados en los que las leyes llevan implantadas más tiempo el consumo es más reducido aún.
En EEUU ya existe un gran debate sobre la despenalización del cannabis medicinal y mucha gente piensa que el consumo entre adolescentes aumentaría, sin embargo se ha demostrado el efecto contrario.

USA; CONSUMPTION DECREASES BETWEEN TEENAGERS SINCE THE LEGALIZATION OF CANNABIS MEDICINAL
The American Journal on drugs and alcohol abuse has conducted a massive study on 800.000 high school students in the US that shows a drop in consumption in those states where medical use has been legalized.
The study was led by Dr. Rebekah Levine Coley, professor of psychology at Boston College. They discovered that for each group of 100 adolescents, one less will be a consumer after the legalization of medical cannabis. When observing particular subgroups of adolescents, the reduction is more marked.
The study has been ongoing for 16 years and researches have been able to analyze the changes in the use of cannabis by adolescents in the states where medical cannabis laws have been enacted and in the States where the laws have been in place the longest the consumption is even smaller.
In the US there is already a great debate about the decriminalization of medical cannabis and many paople think that consumption among adolescents would increase, however the opposite effect has been demonstrated.
