Un 73% de los oncólogos que participaron en la encuesta de la Universidad de Colorado, están convencidos que el cannabis proporciona beneficios a las personas que padecen cáncer, aunque sólo un 43% se sentían cómodos recomendando su uso, ya que aún no saben dosis exactas y no conocen el efecto al interactuar con otros medicamentos.
Una amplia mayoría, sobre el 68%, aseguró haber recibido de sus
pacientes información sobre los beneficios del cannabis medicinal.
Desde otras partes donde les llegó más información a un 55% de estos
profesionales, fue a través de la prensa especializada y medios de
comunicación. Otro 53% declaró que la información les había llegado por
otros caminos.
Dentro de esa recomendación, apuntan que debe hacerse mediante comestibles o aceites y no por inhalación. Se está intentando ampliar el estudio para poder obtener una representación nacional.

73% of the oncologists who participated in the survey of the University of Colorado, are convinced that cannabis provides benefits to people with cancer, although only 43% would be comfortable recommending its use, since they still do not know exact doses and the effect when interacting with other medications.
A large majority over 68%, said they received information about the benefits of medical cannabis from their patients, some of the proffesionals received the information media and specialized press, or other sources.
Within that recommendation, they point out that must be done through edibles or cannabis oil, never inhalated. Specialists are trying to expand the study to obtain a national representation.
