Parece que la opinión oficial del candidato por la nominación demócrata ha variado. La contestación dada a Don Murphy así lo atestigua.
Aunque Biden no estaría dispuesto a legalizar el cannabis de inmediato, es de valorar ese cambio de opinión.

Joseph Robinette "Joe" Biden is an American lawyer and politician who is a member of the Democratic Party.
In New Hanpshire, the former US Vice President was recorded by Don Murphy of the Marijuana Policy Project. Biden answers a question from Murphy about his policies with cannabis:
“First, we must decriminalize marijuana and pressured for a while, period. ... Number two, medical cannabis must be approved. … Number three, anyone convicted of a marijuana offense in the past, present or future must have a clean record so that they can respond in any affidavit that they have never been arrested for a marijuana related offense. … Or, as you know, there are doctors who say we should study it further to help us to avoid other effects: it is not an entry drug, it is not an entry drug, I think science matters ”- said Biden.
It should be noted that previously, Joe Biden had said that he would not legalize marijuana because it was an "entry drug" and that he was inclined to decriminalization at the federal level.
It seems that the official opinion of the candidate for the Democratic nomination has varied. The answer given to Don Murphy attests to this.
Although Biden is not willing to legalize cannabis immediately, it is to value that change of mind.
