Products containing CBD such as oils, soft drinks and food will be “removed from the shelves” before March 2021 if they have not been approved by regulations, as the Food Standards Agency (FSA) says and the BBC reported.

The FSA has also issued new advice on the use of CBD, saying it has no obligations along with other medications.

"We believe that this will generate safety studies that are vital to building consumer confidence and helping to develop a socially responsible and sustainable industry," said Steve Moore of the Cannabinoid Industry Association.

"The CBD industry must provide more information about the safety and content of these products to the regulator before March 2021, or the products will be removed from the shelves." - commented Emily Miles, executive director of the FSA.

The FSA has been forced to set a schedule as producers take time to present their products for approval.

These days, tests have already been carried out on CBD products that are for sale. In them, it seems that they have found some ingredients not listed and also, with levels of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) that are prohibited.
Also, in some cases with little or nothing of the CBD affirmed and in spite of its high prices.
