La votación de las comisiones del Senado mexicano sobre la regulación del cannabis se dio 26 votos a favor, 7 en contra y seis se abstenciones.

A favor votaron los senadores de morena  en contra, los representantes del Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) y en las abstenciones estuvieron senadores panistas y del Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI).  El resultado de la votación aún no irá al Congreso de Diputados ya que se debe discutir aún los detalles.

Entre los usos que se regularán estarán el personal, recreativo, medicinal, el cosmético e investigación. También se garantizaría que los personas comn enfermedades graves y con tratamientos complicados puedan tener acceso para mejorara su bienestar.

Otra cuestión interesante sería que las personas podrían cultivar hasta seis plantas por hogar. Además, las personas que tuvieron “problemas legales” con anterioridad con el cannabis tendrían prioridad en la concesión de licencias.Desde el PAN se destacó la preocupación de que la legalización recreativa agecte al acceso a la sustancia de los más jóvenes. Desde el PRI se mostró su preocupación por si la industrialización legal del cannabis beneficiaría a las empresas extranjeras antes que a los agricultores del país.

El camino hacia la ratificación será largo pero la apertura hacia esa dirección ya esta puesto en marcha.

El senador del PRD, Miguel Ángel Mancera, antes de la votación en comisiones dijo que se estaba lejos de consenso y señaló que hay un escenario en el que la Cámara Baja solamente cumpla con lo señalado por la Corte.

“Me parece que en ese caso nos quedaríamos sin dar un paso fundamental que tiene que dar nuestro país”, declaró el Martes.

The vote of the Mexican Senate commissions on the regulation of cannabis was 26 votes in favor, 7 against and six abstentions.

A favor voted the senators of brunette against, the representatives of the National Action Party (PAN) and in the abstentions senators PAN and the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). The result of the vote will not yet go to the Congress of Deputies since the details should still be discussed.

Another interesting issue would be that people could grow up to six plants per household. In addition, people who previously had “legal problems” with cannabis would have priority in licensing. The road to ratification will be long but the opening towards that direction is already underway.

The PRD senator, Miguel Ángel Mancera, before the vote in the commissions said that he was far from consensus and pointed out that there is a scenario in which the Lower House only complies with what was indicated by the Court.

"It seems to me that in that case we would be left without taking a fundamental step that our country has to take," he said Tuesday.
