El presidente mexicano Andrés Manuel López Obrador recordó que la iniciativa que en su momento había promovido en su campaña, ya está en el legislativo desde hace un tiempo y el asunto debe ser resuelto de manera independiente por ese poder.

El presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador señaló que la iniciativa para la regulación de la mariguana debe ser resuelta por el Senado, pues está emplazado para hacerlo.

“Esta iniciativa sobre la regulación, el uso con fines médicos de la marihuana, ya lleva tiempo ahí. Incluso están emplazados legalmente a resolver”, indicó.

El comentario surgió tras ser cuestionado sobre una reciente reunión con el senador Ricardo Monreal, quien dijo después del encuentro que se trató el tema de la regulación del cannabis.

Sin embargo, no dio detalles sobre cuándo ocurriría o cómo sería la nueva regulación.

“Sí van ellos a resolver sobre este asunto. Sí va a haber una reforma legal, eso sí lo puedo anticipar”, dijo AMLO en una de sus conferencias matutinas.

López Obrador recalcó la división de poderes, debido a que el legislativo es independiente del ejecutivo, destaca El Financiero.

Pero adelantó que el Senado sí decidirá de manera libre sobre este asunto, y que habrá una reforma legal.

El 4 de marzo de este año, las comisiones unidas de Justicia; Salud; y Estudios Legislativos, Segunda, del Senado aprobaron en lo general el proyecto de dictamen en materia de regulación del cannabis.

En tanto, debido a la pandemia del coronavirus, el Pleno del Consejo de la Judicatura Federal extendió el plazo hasta el 9 de septiembre a la Secretaría de Salud para emitir las reglas de uso de medicinas de cannabis.

A mucha gente le urge una resolución legal, sobre todo en pandemia, dado que la marihuana podría salvar la economía mexicana. Desde la salud hasta la economía, todos los especialistas se atreven a señalar que una válvula de rescate para el país podría ser la legalización y comercialización de la marihuana en nuestro territorio.

Asociaciónes inmersas en el mundo cannábico defienden esta propuesta y además aseguran que tendrá un fuerte impacto positivo en la sociedad mexicana al disminuirse la inseguridad y la violencia en las calles.

El presidente de Barba Rossa´s, Emilio Rascón, aseguró que la eventual regulación del cannabis podría afectar positivamente a la economía; dicha industria podría crear cadenas productivas de empleo.

“Va haber gente que venda abono, gente que se encargue de invernaderos, de transportar; no sólo sembrar marihuana, se abrirán servicios legales, financieros, de consultoría, es toda una industria”, señaló.

Sin embargo, al ser un tema que desata polémica hay asesores económicos que dicen que esto podría no ser tan atractivo como suena.

Especialistas económicos apuntan que es un mercado en el que cualuiera puede sembrar, incluso en las macetas de su casa.  Lo que pasa es que al ser tan asequible, el precio se va a abaratar, así que el impacto no será duradero.

Sin duda es un buen tema en el que pensar y una apuesta que puede arrojar algo de luz a las diferenets ciudades de México.
