El senado de México por fin ha aprobado la legalización de la marihuana para usos científicos, terapéuticos, industriales y recreativos, un 100% de las posibilidades. Aunque ahora debe pasar por la cámara de Diputados para su revisión, la mayoría que tiene Andrés Manuel López Obrador y su partido les permite una seguridad total de que será aprobada.
Se creará el Instituto Mexicano para la Regulación y Control del Cannabis, este ente tendrá entre sus atribuciones emitir las licencias necesarias para la producción y venta del cannabis dependiendo de para que uso se va a cultivar, investigación, exportación, medicinal o venta.
Es obvio que con los grandes pasos en la despenalización y legalización de la marihuana en USA México se puede posicionar como el gran productor legal, siéndolo ya ilegal, del consumo estadounidense con unas condiciones de cultivo excepcionales.
Esto puede suponer un espaldarazo a la economía mexicana, la regulación supondrá una enorme cantidad de ingresos gracias a los impuestos, y además una reducción significativa del control de las grandes mafias del narcotráfico.
La despenalización permitirá la siembra, cultivo, cosecha, preparación para el autoconsumo siempre que no se superen 4 plantas por consumidor y un máximo de 8. No se podrá podrá consumir delante de menores.
Las asociaciones podrán ser en grupos de 2 a 20 personas en un domicilio social registrado, podrán realizar todos los pasos de cultivo igual que una persona individual y un límite de 4 plantas por persona. No podrán proveer del cannabis producido por la asociación a nadie que no pertenezca a ella.
Los establecimientos con licencia para la venta tendrán que disponer de un registro de clientes, no podrán vender mas de 28 gramos por persona y día. Así mismo no podrán mezclar los productos cannábicos con otras sustancias como el alcohol, nicotina, tabaco, cafeína y otras con principios activos.
Parece que es una regulación muy trabajada que supondrá un cambio total en el paradigma del consumo cannábico en México. Observaremos con gran interés la evolución de la ley y los efectos que tendrá sobre la sociedad mexicana.

Legalization comes to Mexico
The Mexican Senate has finally approved the legalization of marijuana for scientific, therapeutic, industrial and recreational uses, 100% of the possibilities. This can be a boost to the Mexican economy, regulation will mean a huge amount of income thanks to taxes, and also a significant reduction in control of the big drug trafficking mafias.
The decriminalization will allow the sowing, cultivation, harvest, preparation for self-consumption provided that 4 plants per consumer are not exceeded and a maximum of 8. It may not be consumed in front of minors.
The associations may be in groups of 2 to 20 people in a registered registered office, they may carry out all the cultivation steps the same as an individual person and a limit of 4 plants per person. They will not be able to provide the cannabis produced by the association to anyone who does not belong to it.
