Bueeeeeeeeeno, pues por fin se han puesto las pilas nuestros políticos y han dado un paso para regularizar el cannabis medicinal. La Comisión de Sanidad del Congreso aprobó, con 20 votos a favor y 14 en contra, la creación de una subcomisión que analizará la venta con fines medicinales del cannabis en España.
Lo que duele es que han anunciado que analizarán las experiencias que existen en otros países, a ver cuales deciden estudiar, escuchar la opinión de los agentes implicados. Vamos que van a hacer caso de lo que digan los que llevan años diciendo que no se debe hacer. Esperan presentar un informe en un plazo máximo de 6 meses.
La propuesta ha sido presentada por Josune Gorospe, Portavoz de Sanidad del PNV, que considera que "es hora de romper la dinámica de la negación y comenzar a dar los primeros pasos. Mantener una discusión tranquila, llegar a un consenso con la mayoría para que puedan terminar su trabajo con un informe objetivo real sobre la situación actual y las posibilidades de regular el uso del cáñamo medicinal en España".
Parece que por fin han puesto la vista sobre las evidencias científicas, las declaraciones de organismos como la OMS o la ONU, países como EEUU con casi la totalidad de sus estados legalizando el cannabis medicinal y haciendo estudios desde hace años que corroboran lo beneficios terapéuticos de la planta.
Por no hablar del respaldo social que tiene la legalización en España, uno de los países con mas consumidores, proporcionalmente, del mundo. Estamos totalmente de acuerdo en comenzar con el aspecto medicinal, ha demostrado en todos los países que es la manera correcta de hacerlo. Permite que la población, que actualmente está condicionada en contra, vayan descubriendo todas las posibilidades del cannabis.
Seguiremos con mucha atención los resultados del informe :-)

Soooooooo, because our politicians have finally put the batteries and have taken a step to regularize medical cannabis. The Health Commission of Congress approved, with 20 votes in favor and 14 against, the creation of a subcommittee that will analyze the sale of cannabis for medicinal purposes in Spain.
What hurts is that they have announced that they will analyze the experiences that exist in other countries, to see which ones they decide to study, to listen to the opinion of the agents involved. We are going to pay attention to what those who have been saying for years that it should not be done say. They expect to present a report within a maximum period of 6 months.
The proposal has been presented by Josune Gorospe, PNV Health Spokesperson, who believes that "it is time to break the dynamics of denial and start taking the first steps. Maintain a calm discussion, reach a consensus with the majority so that they can finish their work with a real objective report on the current situation and the possibilities of regulating the use of medicinal hemp in Spain ".
It seems that they have finally set their sights on the scientific evidence, the statements of organizations such as the WHO or the UN, countries like the US with almost all of its states legalizing medical cannabis and doing studies for years that corroborate the therapeutic benefits of plant.
Not to mention the social support that legalization has in Spain, one of the countries with the most consumers, proportionally, in the world. We fully agree to start with the medicinal aspect, it has been shown in all countries that it is the correct way to do it. It allows the population, which is currently conditioned against it, to discover all the possibilities of cannabis.
