Hoy hemos echado un vistazo a las noticias cannábicas en diferentes periódicos y, de verdad, que no avanzamos. Es terrible que a las fechas que estamos, con prácticamente todos los estados de USA autorizando la comercialización del cannabis, ya sea para fines medicinales o lúdicos. En Latinoamérica lo mismo, buena parte de Europa y nosotros como siempre. No decimos que nos bailen el agua y se pongan, que lo harán cuando lo exijan las grandes marcas, a decir solo lo bueno del cannabis, no, lo que esperamos es imparcialidad como corresponde al supuesto cuarto poder.
Sensacionalismo, alarmismo, en muchas ocasiones mentiras descaradas campan a sus anchas por los titulares de nuestros periódicos patrios. Solo un ejemplo de ignorancia, malicia, adoctrinamiento o vete a saber, les ha llegado el nombre de Cultivo de Guerrilla y se han venido arriba con el titular y la noticia, en fin, es este: El fin de la banda que cultivaba marihuana en plantaciones “de guerrilla” y con “técnicas paramilitares” las supuestas técnicas paramilitares son que había uno que mandaba y otros que hacían guardias para que no se la pillaran. Eso si, como eran albaneses tenían que ponerlo como algo misterioso.
De principio a fin es un despropósito, como todos sabemos los cultivos de guerrilla son precisamente los que se dejan en zonas aisladas a su libre albedrío, el hecho de poner una plantación en el monte no lo hace de guerrilla. Esta gente era un grupo organizado que cultivaba en el campo lo mismo que podrían haberlo hecho en una nave industrial, con las mismas precauciones, los mismos sistemas y con el mismo interés.
Y este no es mas que uno entre un millón de artículos en los que nunca se habla del aspecto terapéutico de la planta, de los estudios, muchos muy prometedores, que se están realizando allí donde se legaliza o se piensa realmente legalizar. Los testimonios de miles de personas que avalan las propiedades medicinales de los principales cannabinoides. Las posibilidades comerciales y recaudatorias del cannabis, como se puede ver en Colorado por ejemplo. En fin, esperamos algo de sensatez, no mucha, por parte de nuestros periódicos y no la vemos, eso si, cuando lleguen las grandes marcas comerciales les veremos hacer lo contrario de lo que están haciendo ahora, se pondrán la medallita de valientes y proclamarán a los cuatro vientos las bondades de la planta, si no al tiempo.

Today we have taken a look at the cannabis news in different newspapers and, really, we are not moving forward. It is terrible that at the time we are, with practically all the states of the USA authorizing the commercialization of cannabis, either for medicinal or recreational purposes. In Latin America the same, much of Europe and us as always. We are not saying that they will dance the water for us and put on, that they will do it when the big brands demand it, to say only the good things about cannabis, no, what we expect is impartiality as corresponds to the supposed fourth power.
Sensationalism, alarmism, on many occasions brazen lies roam freely through the headlines of our national newspapers. Just one example of ignorance, malice, indoctrination or who knows, the name of Guerrilla Cultivation has come to them and they have come up with the headline and the news, in short, it is this: The end of the gang that cultivated marijuana in “guerrilla” plantations and with “paramilitary techniques” the supposed paramilitary techniques are that there was one who was in charge and others who were guards so that they would not be caught.
